In the ‘Connectors’ tab, you will find all available connectors that you can use to establish a connection.
Click the Connect button to link the connector to Exact Online. You will now see the Exact Online login screen. Log in with the user account you want to use to retrieve data from Exact Online. Check whether you are granting access to one administration or all administrations (shown at the top of the screen).
After logging in, you will return to the portal and see that Exact Online is connected.
Note: If you are already logged in to Exact Online in another browser tab, that logged-in account will automatically be linked. If you do not want this, it is best to log out of Exact Online first or completely close your browser.
If you are also using the Power BI Connector for Exact Online, both connectors will share the same connection to Exact Online. They will be connected simultaneously.
Multiple Exact Online Accounts
If you want to link different Exact Online accounts/users to the Fabric Connector, you can create additional users for this purpose. Each user can then be linked to a different Exact Online account.
From Fabric’s perspective, the flow is as follows:
Connector Key entered in Fabric → belongs to a user in PowerBIConnector.nl → is linked to an Exact Online account → has access to the administrations in that Exact Online account.
Make sure not to link multiple users in PowerBIConnector.nl to the same Exact Online account. If you do, these users will invalidate each other’s connection every 10 minutes, causing the connection to break.
