In the ‘Users’ tab, you will find all users who can use the Fabric Connectors.
You only need to add users here who will use the Fabric Connector to create a lakehouse in Fabric. Users who build reports and view dashboards do not need to be added here; that can be managed directly in Power BI.
Only administrators can add or modify users.
Click the + User button to add a new user. Enter the user’s name and email address. Use the Administrator checkbox to grant administrator rights if needed. Below that, you can select the companies whose data this user can import. When you click Save, the user will be created and an activation email will be sent to the specified email address.
You can modify user details later by clicking on the user’s row. Here, a user can also be deleted if necessary.
Please note that Exact Online access rights still apply. If the user does not have access rights in Exact Online, the data will not be accessible via the Fabric Connector, even if you have granted access here. In that case, the import will display a ‘no access’ message.
