The Power BI Connector for Exact Online is used within Power BI Desktop to import data from Exact Online. The connector need to be installed on each computer where Power BI Desktop is installed, in the same user account as where Power BI Desktop is installed.
In this manual we assume that Power BI Desktop is already installed. You can download Power BI Desktop from the Microsoft website.
This is only necessary for the users who will create a dashboard in Power BI Desktop. For users who only view the dashboard in the online Power BI Service, Power BI Desktop and the Power BI Connector do not need to be installed.
